Hey everyone its Mariah! Sam and I are so sorry we haven’t been updating. With school starting it just added tons of more work and pressure on us and school comes before this site. Since the first weeks of school have pasted everything is settling down to where I can update now! (: Just leave a comment in the cbox above or below of what you want on the site! So, alot has changed since I’ve blogged. I have been busy with Marching Band and School. Our show this year is “Night To Light”. I’m so excited for this season! Junior year is just like any other year but more pressure.. Teachers pushing you to get ready for ACT testing and alot of practice for testing. I did have a boyfriend but I was to busy to have one so im single now & okay about it (: Sam and I haven’t texted each other in forever! I never talk to her anymore.. She’s really busy too with school and her job.. Speaking of jobs! I’m applying for a job at my local grocery store. It would be my first job ever if I get hired. I’m excited and nervous. Well tomorrow I have jazz choir rehearsal at 7am so ttyl lovees!

So I finally added those twitter layouts you heard so much about. I really hope you all enjoy them. And if you do and you want me to make more just ask and I’m sure I can grant your request. I was also really bored with the layout we had so I made a new one! I was watching Because I Said So when I made it, so that’s why I chose Miss. Mandy Moore. I really do apologize for the lack of updates. My only excuse is that I have been super busy with work and school. But I will try to update at least once a week from now on.

Okay so work right now is a blast last night i had two venti iced white chocolate mochas and I was up really late. Lol. But its my new favorite drink I suggest you all go try one! I worked with Kelly, Kawika and Sabrina. They are my new favorite co-workers to work with now lol. We had a blast closing last night. So my first week of school has no excitement other then I got my last first day of going back to high school over with. I counting down the days til I can leave and never look back at it again. Older people are always saying I would love to go back to high school. I really don’t see it. I mean all you do is go to classes, get bossed around by old teachers that have wear way to much make-up. So no I’m fine with leaving high school thank you very much :]

Yes we were going to leave mascara but that was until we found out that we just love mascara and we couldnt leave it. So we just did a revamp and we really hope you like it. The layout was inspired by melinda at pastelsmash. She helped code it. And we love her for that :] We really hope you all enjoy the site and if you see a way we can improve it please don’t be shy speak up and let us know we would really appreciate it.

School starts on August 3^rd for both of us. Which sucks. I’m some what ready for my senior year. I just want it to go by really fast. I want out of this piece of poop town. I’m doing really well at work, but since school is going to be starting back up my hours will get cut. Which makes me sad :/ but my boss said that I will get another raise and work lots of weekend shifts. I’m so excited for my raise i will be making 10 bucks an hour. Woot woot! Hello big pay checks. haha.

Anyways I’m about to go to my school and pick up my schedule. So ttyl kiddos

Revamp, a success?

I really don’t know. This whole having a site is starting to really bore me. It seems like whatever I do the site doesn’t change. So I really don’t know how much more of this I can take. I love the header though. Melinda @ Rock&Redbread did an amazing job! Don’t you agree. I’m thinking im just going to start a whole new site. But it will be a surprise and no one will know about it except for me :] Well I added icons and desktop wallpapers. I hope you all like/enjoy them.

I got like $700 worth of clothes in the mail yesturday. And I’m still waiting on my AE order to get here. Then when I get paid on Friday I plan on spending a large amount of it on clothes makeup and shoes. Im getting a jumpstart on my senior year wardrobe. And so far I’m really digging my style :] My sister calls it “Pacific Coast Prep” haha. Shes pretty creative.

Sorry, the revamp wasn’t to extraordinary as we all thought. We are going to give it another try. I already have updates up just not yet linked. We are working on a new layout. And trying to get the ads to look decent at the same time, so please hold tight and the revamp will happen faster then you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious wow that was hard to spell :]

Alot of things will be new and changing on mascaralyts (: We are revamping the whole site soon! I’m going to be making a new domain layout and we are going to be having ads on the site. Hope that doesnt bother anyone.. No pop-ups though lol. Tons of new content will be coming your way. I’ve been adding tons of layouts this week. I think like 40 so far & there will be more! I’m going to start making premade domain layouts so get ready for that!

So this weekend my family is taking my sister camping for her birthday. I get to invite a friend so im excited. I wont be alone with 13 year olds. Were going to be able to go swimming and the pool has a slide! So the friend im taking has never been camping so this should be fun! Were also going to go hiking and hang downtown and get ice creamm haha. So with that going on this weekend, i wont be adding anything on Saturday but that’s okay cause I need a break. Then the 21^st I start band camp and I wont be on for awhile. Well ttyl <3

Hey, its Mariah and tonight im going to go see fireworks with my boyfriend and a couple friends! I’m so excited! Hopefully my best friend gets to stay the night tonight. We always have tons of fun. Then tomorrow my families having a fourth of July party but I wont be there very long.. cause im going to Chicago to go see Mary Poppins! My friend and her mom is taking be for a birthday present. I freaking love Chicago. It’s my way to feel like im in New York. hahaha. & ommmgggg I am so sorry that I haven’t been updating. I just don’t know what to update and you people never tell us what to add so if we don’t have updates its your fault. lol jk. but seriously.. So the couple past days its been so cold here! I mean, I like that its not really hot but were in freakin July! It should be 90 degree weather and were getting 50-60 degree. Well I hope everyone has a safe Fourth of July weekend! Mario Kart!, at 2 in the morning?

So fathers day was a success. I got my dad Mario Kart for the Wii. I love that game. It’s so much fun. I love being Mario and winning. Hes totally my favorite character on the game for sure. The game is really addicting when you are playing it at 2 o’clock in the morning when you get off of work. Speaking of work, I finally got yet another raise. I’m so happy. I’m an assistant manager now. That means I can boss people arounddd :]

OMG! Year One finally came out. Seems like it took forever to come out. But I have yet to see it. I’m going Tuesday. I don’t like going to see a movie the weekend it comes out because the theater is always packed. So that’s why it’s taken this long to go see it. I’m going with Amber and Sabrina, we are really excited.

So as you can tell Mariah and I have been updating at least once a day. We are really proud of ourselves for that. And we want all of your opinions on what else you want to see updated or even added. So PLEASEEE! let us know. And I’m really proud about our views they are really starting to rise. And if you are one of those sites that really want to get recognized for all of your hard work and talent apply for our Advertisements. It will help you out.

Oh and before I forget to tell you all. I added a tutorial today. It’s on Animation. I really tried to make it as clear as possible because animation on Photoshop is already confusing as it is. If you want to know how to do something on Photoshop and we don’t already have a tutorial on how to do so, let us know and we will more then likely add/make one to put up.

So Sunday is Father’s Day and some people don’t have their father around. So I wanted to make sure that you guys thank the person who raised you and tell them you love them. I’m glad I have a father that’s around so I am planning to spend the day with him and I bought him some clothes (: I love my daddy haha. I want you guys to comment and tell us what your getting/doing for your dad or the person who raised you! <3

So there is a pretty big storm coming where I live and its pretty scary.. I hate storms. I’m suppose to have a softball game tonight but we will see. & now my cable tv just shut off and my lights are flickering.. I’m hiding in the basement tonight. haha ttyl, love you guys.

You all should go listen to our myspace song. Its great, it makes me want caramel delights and write a rap. HAHA. Mariah and I have been working really hard on this site and we hope you like the improvements. We added graphics finally. And lots more. I’m really happy I have Mariah as a partner shes great. :]

I have been working my butt off at work lately, and I really want a raise. I’m working five days a week. 10am to like 5pm. I have also been hanging out with my friend Amber a lot lately. She’s a great friend to have. Me and her have been stressing about becoming ‘adults’. It’s scary to think that in one year I will be on my own, in an entire different state then my parents, be in college and my mom won’t be there to wake me up when I’m running like 15 minutes late. But everyone grows up. And thankfully Amber and my twin will be living with me so I won’t be on my own completely.

I absolutely love summertime. It’s been really cloudy lately. So its a bummer and I haven’t been to the beach in like forever. So once the weather clears up, I’m there. I’m already starting to buy school clothes for senior year. This weekend I get paid and it’s all going to Urban outfitters, and Buckle haha. I love there clothes around this time. They are different, and super adorable. Once I’m done shopping this weekend me and Amber are going to go see ‘The Hangover’. Have any of you all seen it yet? Well I will check up with you all later :]

Man, have I’ve been lazy today. Slept till 11:45 today and did absolutely nothing. But I did add something to the site! A new domain layout, interest icons, and etc. So Sam and I were going to get google ads but it does something with your name server so thats a no, no. Then we checked out Brite Ads and that site just looks like its not very safe so our last look will be Nabbr. So if anyone has that please comment and tell us what you think of it (: Is it safe? How much money do you get? So Saturday before I forget. I went to the musical the “King and I” with some friends and it was pretty good but too old for me. But the best part was my friend Michael asked me out and I said yes. So that made my night! (: So tomorrow I wont be on as much because I have a double header game at 6:00.. playing the same team twice! My softball season has been going pretty well. I pitch, so that makes me happy (: I cant hit worth crap though haha. So starting the beginning of July I start Marching Band Camp and its going to be brutal. 8 hours in the sun standing on black-top.. Man! Is that going to be hot. Actually where I live there hasn’t been any sunny days so far, just cloudy. That’s not right.. Anyways, I play the trumpet in band and its pretty cool. If you play an instrument, tell me what you play and what you like about it (: So, my grades came in the other day and im so happy with what I got! Just A’s and B’s. I’m going to try to go for straight A’s my junior year. I signed up for this class where I will get dual credits for college and im kinda nervous about it. I have to take this huge test at the college and then take the class at my high school. I’m taking Speech 101 and I hate speaking in front of people. But im glad im getting it out of the way now and not have to do it in college.

But theres this song called “I’m at war” that I really like. You all should go give it a listen. My summer break starts really soon. Next Thursday to be exact. I’m going to have such a blast. Espeacially since this will be my last summer as an ‘adolescent’. Next summer I will be 18, I’m so excited. Life seemed to have just passed me by. I don’t know weather that’s a good or bad :/

But anyways. Mariah and I have decided we really don’t need/want yet another co-owner. We will just manage by ourselves. As for me I won’t be on much during the daytime due to work. I just got promoted to an assistant/day insider so that’s were I will be during the day rather then in front of my computer. And I also plan on spending a lot of time with friends. So you all should be relying on Mariah for most of the updates, sorry. That’s pretty much all I have to say for right now, so I will talk to ya’ll later

Finally, school is almost over and we get to enjoy summer vacation! Sam and I will try our best this summer to update. I will about the first month of summer try to update but after that im super busy. So make sure all you sites out there take a break too (; I’m uber excited about my junior year! I will be in Chamber Choir, My 3^rd year in Marching Band, and Graphic Arts! So for us Chamber Choir is like the top choir at my school and you get to travel, get out of school, and have a Christmas party at the director’s/teacher’s house haha. Also, today we got the chance to play our first movement song in our marching band show. It was so cool! Its like a “hit ya in the face” song (: Before I forget we have updates on the site.. New tutorials, icons, codes, and we getting ads! boooyahhhh. Also, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Sam and I might be looking for a new co-owner to the site. Hey everyone its Mariah! There has been alot of changes with this site. We were somewhere else and then we came back and deleted everything for a new fresh start. We are trying to get everything back up as fast as we can. We put up a new domain layout today and there will be more. This weekend has been busy for both of us since it was our birthdays. I had an awesome Sweet Sixteen Luau birthday party! I had the most coolest cake ever and sweet presents (; Today, as been a very slow day for me. I pretty much slept all day cause I didnt feel well. Good thing we didnt have school today. Well now that im 16 I can get a job! I’m so excited. I can finally make some money. Hopefully I get hired somewhere. Its been really tough here to get a job. So school is almost over for me and I dont think I have to take finals! yessssss ;p THEN ITS SUMMER! My friends and I are going to go running and bike riding alot this summer so we can have hotter bodies lol. Then marching band starts and that takes up alot of my life. So I wont be on alot.. :/ Well dinner time so ttyl <3

So yes. We changed back to mascaralyts.com big deal. We like it :] Anyways. I bet your wondering.. “Why did they go back to Mascara?” Well our old that gave us Peace was crappy and our site was down more then it was up. And we werent able to get ads because of that. So “hense”.. Back to mascara. All we moved back was layouts. So we will be trying our best to get this site up and running smoothly soon. So sit tight and look at what we have so far :]
