Kerning font means bringing text in together are spreading them out. In this tutorial we will bringing text in together.
First you need to open photoshop and type/write your text with the font/size/color, etc. This is what mine looks like.
Now select what you want to kern. For an example I just want mascaralyts kerned so this is what mine looks like.
Once you have your font selected go to your font edit options(here) and mess around with the width i usually make mine -.50
And thats pretty much all you have to do to kern fonts. Here is what the final product should turn out like.
